What Is Poca Go!?

Poca Go! presented by Dominion Energy is an enduro-style XC MTB race held on the Swift Creek single-track flow trails at Pocahontas State Park in Chesterfield, VA.

This is a fundraiser event staffed fully by volunteers from the local trail community- all proceeds from the race will support the mountain bike trails at Pocahontas State Park. Poca Go! is a part of the Virginia State Parks Adventure Series.

Our generous race support from 2022 include: Dominion Energy, Patient First, rvaMORE, Friends of Pocahontas State Park (FoPSP), Pedal Power, Virginia State Parks, Carytown Bicycle Co., Molly’s Bicycle Shop/Blind Dog Brewery, Terrapin Beer Co., Ballad Brewing, Running Fire Design, LILO Collections, REI, SWOOD,  pello bikes, ALL IN MTB, and RVA Racing.

PLEASE NOTE:

No refunds will be given for this race under any circumstances! We will do everything in our power to make this race a reality. A rain date of June 24th has been scheduled. If unforeseen circumstances arise and we aren’t able to hold the event, all race fees will automatically be considered as donations to the trails.

It's tough.

Poca Go! is designed to give you a challenge. We recognize you signed up to race, not a leisure ride.

It's rewarding.

This race is a fundraiser. Plain and simple, your entry is helping keep the race and the bike trails at Pocahontas State Park alive!

It's family fun.

The race has various levels and something for everybody! We encourage a fun and inclusive atmosphere, no matter the skill level.
